The Championships are over for another year but there is more Group 1 action at Randwick with the WFA All Aged Stakes and Champagne Stakes for two year olds; the Randwick card also includes another four Group 3 races. There is also an excellent program at Caulfield with two Listed races as well as the VOBIS Gold Ingot for two year olds, VOBIS Gold Reef for three year olds, VOBIS Gold Mile for four year olds and VOBIS Gold Sprint for three and four year olds which sees the reappearance of two-time Group 1 winner Trust In A Gust. The WFA Irwin Stakes and Schweppervescence Stakes for three year old fillies are both Group 3 races on a good card at Morphettville.

Day 2 of The Championships at Randwick is even better than Day 1 with four Group 1's, two Group 2's and a Group 3; the $4,000,000 Queen Elizabeth Stakes has attracted one of the best fields in its long history with Contributer, Cox Plate winner Adelaide, Criterion, Red Cadeaux and Japanese pair To The World and Tosen Stardom taking their place. The Australian Oaks for three year old fillies, Queen Of The Turf Stakes for fillies and mares and the Sydney Cup are the other Group 1's on this magnificent card.

Day 1 of The Championships at Randwick is outstanding with four Group 1's, the Doncaster Mile, WFA T.J. Smith Stakes, Australian Derby for three year olds and Inglis Sires for two year olds. While the Doncaster has attracted a top-class field the T.J. Smith also holds a lot of interest with the clash of Darley Classic trifecta Terravista, Chautauqua and Lankan Rupee which take-on Galaxy winner Sweet Idea. At Caulfield the highlights are the Group 3 Victoria Handicap and Group 3 Easter Cup while Oakbank's legendary two-day Carnival starts on Saturday with the Von Doussa Steeplechase being the highlight while the Great Eastern Steeplechase over 4950m is the feature attraction on Easter Monday.

Another superb day of racing at Rosehill with the $1,500,000 BMW over 2400 metres being the feature attraction; the Vinery Stud Stakes for three year old fillies over 2000 metres is the other Group 1 on the card. The Tulloch Stakes for three year olds and Emancipation Stakes for fillies and mares are at Group 2 level while there are another four Group 3's including the Doncaster Prelude. Mornington hosts a stand-alone meeting and the highlight is the Mornington Cup over 2400 metres which gives the winner automatic entry into the Caulfiled Cup. On Friday night Moonee Valley hosts a Group 1 meeting headlined by the William Reid Stakes over 1200 metres while the Group 2 Sunline Stakes for fillies and mares is the other feature.

The $3,500,000 Golden Slipper for two year olds over 1200 metres is the feature attraction on a magnificent card of racing at Rosehill; the Slipper has been thrown wide-open with the favourite Vancouver drawing the second-outside barrier. The WFA George Ryder Stakes over 1500 metres, WFA Ranvet Stakes over 2000 metres, Rosehill Guineas for three year olds over 2000 metres and The Galaxy over 1100 metres are all Group 1's making it five for the day.

It's Super Saturday at Flemington with the feature attractions being the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap and Australian Cup; Lankan Rupee must overcome Chautauqua, Terravista and Brazen Beau and carry the same weight as Hay List to win the Newmarket. Melbourne Cup hero Protectionist disappointed in the Peter Young and he strives to bounce back to his best in the Australian Cup. Other highlights at Flemington are the Group 2 treble of the Sires' Produce Stakes for two year olds, Kewney Stakes for three year old fillies and Blamey Stakes as well as another two Group 3's and two Listed races on a superb card. Group 1 action continues in Sydney with the Coolmore Classic for fillies and mares being the feature; there are another four Group 2's and two Group 3's on an outstanding program.

The Autumn Carnival in Sydney and Melbourne is now in full swing; there is an excellent meeting at Randwick with the features being the Group 1 Randwick Guineas for three year olds and Group 1 Canterbury Stakes. The Group 2 Challenge Stakes and Group 2 Reisling Stakes and Todman Stakes for two year olds are other highlights while there are another two Group 3's and two Listed races on the program. At Flemington the Group 1 Australian Guineas for three year olds is the feature attraction; other highlights at Flemington are the Group 3 Frances Tressady Stakes for fillies and mares and Group 3 TAB Rewards Stakes as well as three other Listed races.

A superb meeting at Caulfield with the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes for two year olds being the feature attraction; Fontiton has done everything right so far and from the coveted inside barrier she is the one to beat. The Oakleigh Plate and WFA Futurity Stakes round-out the Group 1 action; Dissident is hot favourite to win his fifth Group 1 in the Futurity. Other highlights at Caulfield are the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes for three year old fillies, Autumn Classic for three year olds and Peter Young Stakes which sees the reappearance of Melbourne Cup hero Protectionist. At Warwick Farm the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes is the feature and it well supported by three Group 2's and two Group 3's.

There are only six starters in this year's Black Caviar Lightning at Flemington but the field for the Group 1 WFA race over 1000 metres includes reigning Horse of the Year Lankan Rupee, the undefeated Deep Field and top-class three year old Brazen Beau so it sure to be a superb contest. Other Group races at Flemington are The Vanity for three year old fillies and the C.S. Hayes Stakes for three year old colts and geldings. At Rosehill the feature attraction is the Group 2 Silver Slipper for two year olds; other highlights at Rosehill are the Group 2 Hobartville Stakes for three year olds and Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes for fillies and mares.

Group 1 racing returns with the C. F. Orr Stakes over 1400 metres at Caulfield which has its first meeting since Caulfield Cup Day. Dissident was a disappointing first-up third in the Australia Stakes but he has his chance to redeem himself in the Orr. Other highlights at Caulfield are the G2 Autumn Stakes for three year olds, G2 Rubiton Stakes, G3 Kevin Hayes Stakes for three year old fillies, G3 Carlyon Cup, G3 Bellmaine Stakes for mares plus the Blue Diamond Preludes. The highlights at Randwick are the G2 Apollo Stakes, G2 Light Fingers Stakes for three year old fillies, G3 Southern Cross Stakes and G3 Triscay Stakes for mares.
